This afternoon I finally had the time to pick up the CSA during the daylight hours.
It's a nice combo of apples, pears, fingerling potatoes, squash, green peppers and lettuce. It's fall!

ReplyDeleteI thought of you this evening. My housemate, Nigel, is doing an experiment of heating water to 104 degrees and putting the fruit into it for 30 sec. Supposedly it helps the fruit last longer out of the fridge since it has killed some of the microbes! He brings this bowl of beautiful assorted fruit! I should take a picture of it in the daylight!
Will let you know how long the fruit lasts.
