Winter Commute
When I take the train to work it takes twice as long as when I drive. Not cool. But the trade-offs are that I get to read on the train and I get to walk through the quiet beauty of pre-sunrise West Philadelphia. A few weeks ago, that commute looked like this.
gaaaah presunrise light, to die (or at least not sleep in) for .... it's like that project you had to do for your photo class -- taking pictures in the morning ... with blue snow all around ... what beauts.
I am a tree planter, community garden organizer, environmental educator, casual crafter, eater, and traveler. I started this blog while working towards my master's degree in Environmental Horticulture at UC Davis and now I'm in West Philadelphia, saving the world one tree at a time.

ah, the train taking twice the amount of time is not cool, but I admire your ability to enjoy the bright sides. I do love the train!
